There's seems to me a lot of negativity on here and the P&B site already regarding his appointment and what difference he'll bring to the club next season
Here's a suggestion . Why don't we wait and see who he brings in and how the team performances before writing off his and Queens chances already

Contrary to what some have in their heads, Skelton was NOT the cheap option. He , along with Fowler are the highest paid bosses in our history . Dare I say it, but I am usually accurate as posts on here can testify and you can take this as 100% true.

Seriously? I hope your source isn't P&B. What has Skelton done to justify being the highest paid manager in our history? It beggars belief that Skelton and Fowler would earn more than an experienced manager like JIm Mcintyre. I hasten to think what kind of money our 'Football Development Manager' will be on.

Skelton is on more money than McIntyre was and I don't go on P+B.Source is very good , in fact has never been wrong about anything at all .

as iv said earlier on this thread he will be judged on the players he brings in and the style of play he has them play ,atm no one knows what to expect ,all it will take is him finding a couple of flair player diamonds and itl be gavin skeltons blue and white army getting sung on the terrace .

I see the Holywood Trust is no longer funding Jim Thomson in his commercial roll . That's a bit of a financial blow for Queens .
I take it his "new job" will now have to come out of the pocket of QOSFC or is that job just another for assistant manager ....???????
