    And, as has been pointed out befor,e Queen of the South FC have the legal right to veto any transfer of shares !

    It is my understanding that there has to be good reasons to block a share transfer. I don't think the reasons from the club were strong enough.

    Sorry Joe - but did you not tell me on this thread on 9th January that the club had, in fact, blocked a transfer of 50 shares last year ! - a bit of confusion all round !

    Yes they did block it. But a small share transfer (50 shares out of 150,000 in the club) between two existing shareholders should not of in my opinion been blocked. Their reasons were poor. It would have to have been taken further to see who was right.
