    Saw Cassius way back in 1966 at Earls Court in London when I lived down south. Six
    of us gave a doorman a 10 shilling note each and he let us in illegally. Ten minutes
    later we were back in the pub after Cassius demolished a guy from Blackpool called
    Brian London in the 3rd round.

    My Dad seen him near to Half Moon Street in Mayfair walking along the street with his bodyguard in 1966, before his 2nd fight vs. Cooper.

    We were talking about his demise in the pub tonight. Nobody could think of any sportsman who had an effect on the 20th century the way he did. A religious figure,of sorts, a political figure for sure and a man of immense integrity. A colossus in so many ways. What a guy...
