here is the translation to English>>>>>>>>>>>

OMONIA announces agreement in principle with the 30 year old Englishman attacker, Matt Derbyshire , who since 2014 was playing for Rotherham United (Championship).

The player , who is in Cyprus since yesterday ( 15/06 ) morning , will go through the process of medical examinations in order to activate the cooperation agreement between the two sides .

If it is true (hope not) then we need to get a shift on in finding some players that want to be at our club, Stokes is rumoured to be having medical at Blackburn

    It's true.

And Stokes signs 3 year deal at Blackburn.

deja vu again? Go unearth some lower league talent that we can afford. Some good suggestions were on here a few weeks ago. Curtis Nelson - good CB at Plymouth could be a good signing for us. Could do with a decent forward as well. How about scouting around Europe?

Good move by the club this. Derbyshire reportedly on about £7k a week with us and not worth it imo. Frees up valuable money to get a striker that scores goals. We need that and MD didn't deliver. Wish him well though

Can understand Matt moving - later end of his career, has played in that region before (Olympiakos) - it's warm, sunny, on his wage he will be able to afford a villa the size of Aston. As for us, well significant wages freed up for now, though £7K obviously not enough to lure the likes of Stokes here. Go lower league or find a gem in the second tier of French/Belgian/Dutch/Irish football? They are out there.....
