    To be fair going back 30 years I can still remember the taste even just looking at the pic you posted makes me want grab a bite but I won't...

    Fish is great in all varieties, all types of styles. Love it all. Never found a fish i didnt find fine.

    Also why do vegetarians call "meat loaf" made from tofu "meat loaf". Surely its tofu loaf. Always confused me.

    I've no idea Pacman .

    Tofu is good though my wife makes her own cheese sauce with dairy free milk not sure what type of milk she uses .

    After looking at the pic again it reminded me of the chip shop at mounthooly roundabout (the old one ) when on a midweek you could buy a tanner special .. A tanner being two threepennys or indeed half a shilling ..
    The special contained a we not looking very good fish and a portion of chips but real fine all the same used to pop in past as the Northfield bus would stop right at the door on my way to Pittodrie . there was loads of shops there can anyone remember them the Stags head pub pre game maybe.

    I actually prefer Quorn when making fajitas or enchiladas.

    It soaks up all the juices better, another top tip from chef AberdeenArnold.

    Aye there's a cracking quorn selection at Tescos even dairy free soft and hard cheese made macaroni with that cheese turned out really nice .. Thanks for educating our fellow posters Arnold.
