    Pearson to return to India?

Rumours abound that club are prepared to let Stephen Pearson leave the club to have another shot at the Indian Super league! Players seem to be leaving with a deafening silence on any replacements being in place?

Same as always. Hopefully we've got a few new faces lined up.

He had his bad games like everyone but in general I thought we were better when he played than not. If we can get money from India for him we'd be mad not to take of course it but I'm not convinced he'll be as easy to replace as you think...he got nine goals from the middle of the park last term, if he hadn't been injured for so long at the start he'd probably have hit double figures and (excluding Murphy, Foran etc who are basically forwards playing wide) we've had about three of them in centre midfield in the last 30 years.

This from Mr Burrows twitter page on Monday.

Need to agree to differ I think we can replace him pretty easily. Anyway we should be looking for younger than him. I think its bollox I think he will still be with us. I don't think he will be inundated with offers and if he is good luck to him. Would we get cash for him? is he not out of contract. If hes on contract Id be amazed if anyone pays money for him

Let's wait and see how true this is. As for 'extended' contracts. Guys at the end of their careers and McFadden is finished. Can't beleive we offered him a new deal.

Pearson is under contract to summer 2017 - hence my general amazement at interest from anywhere else.
