    Scott McDonald bound for Hibs?

Rumour mill has it that Scott McDonald is a target for Neil Lennon's Hibernian team.Just one of the reasons McDonald is taking his time to decide where his future lies.

I've seen this rumour in the media and even though I like McDonald, if he decides to go to Hibs it'll be a simple bye bye. If he doesn't want to play for us I won't lose any sleep over it.

McDonald was one of, if not our best player with the most influence last season. We should do what it takes to keep him.

Now he is not one we would replace easily.

If what I've read is correct, he is one of the players that has been asked to take a pay cut before he gets a new deal. Hibs can and probably will offer him more money if the rumour is true and the wee man will be off. Couldn't really blame him.

Scott McDonald was worth his weight in gold for us last season as he was a genuinely quality forward SPFL player who not only guaranteed goals but was a crucial link in the team. If we lose him then it will be a blow to us, no matter how you try and dress that up and anyone saying otherwise is kidding themselves on.

If McDonald goes it will be a massive blow. He would be a very difficult player to replace. He was crucial to us last season. On the flip side, we have lost players before and will do in the future. We just have to get on with it.

Why the concern .. we have McFadden
Yes its a loss but we can’t keep playing the same team year after year and we’re beginning to look like Madame Tussauds and full aging relics !! I say its time to change our starting line-up

If McDonald goes to Hibs does anyone think we might sign El-Bakhtaoui of Dunfermline

We have already added a striker - Jacob Blyth. Can we afford another?
