Surely NOT a 2 year deal .. ONE at the most !!
If kept as cover and coaching fine but if 1st choice throughout season a disappointment.
Do we ever look forward to re-build and perhaps explains why new players reluctant to sign as will be 2nd choice behind ageing legends

Terrible piece of business if you ask me Two year deal for a player who has played 30 odd games last two seasons shows he is coming to end of career. When the club a clearly stapped for cash this seems like a job for the boys.

Hate to say it when you factor in Faddy might sign again bit of a kick in the teeth for the young ones waiting in the wings might aswell just leave.

Record when Hammy plays is much better than when he doesn't. Good move MM.

Less happy with that - thought it was a one-year deal when I skimmed the tweet.

41 to be precise, but the majority (29, including 2 sub appearances) were last season.

If he can manage another 25-30 games a year for the next couple of years, it won't be the worst bit of business, unless you know of a better proper left back we can afford.
