One of my all-time favourite pieces of music. (Forgive the slightly cheesy video)

The late Duncan Browne - Fauvette

I've a life long love affair with 50's music, from the greats of Elvis,Jerry Lee,Eddie,Buddy and co to the rarely heard sounds of doo wop, having said that I think that the person with the greatest voice that I have ever heard is probably Al Green, its like honey coming out of the speakers

I can remember once listening to the radio with my ex late one night and hearing the most brilliant, unusual love song I had ever heard,it totally mesmerised me,it was Richard Thompson singing 1952 Vincent Black Lightning, absolutely brilliant, i went out and bought it the next day

You've got good taste chalkyncfc61. 'Vincent' is a brilliant song, as is 'Beeswing'

Yeah Beeswing is a great song, when I went to buy Vincent the only album that I could find it on at the time was the Action Packed CD,its a great introduction to Richard Thompson's music,I've played Vincernt to people and they just don't hear the beauty of such a great song, perhaps he's a 'marmite' singer, its still one of my favorite songs of all time and I've bought 1,000s of albums in the past
