Blackburn Bid £500k for Craig Forsyth

    According to Daily Mail.

No way I value Craig much higher.

Seems like Derby players are in demand.

Surely you mean "No way, I value Craig much higher" which is quite the oppoaite of what you said Ellie?

If, and it's only an 'if', de Laet and/or Chester are coming in then I would have thought he might be one who could be allowed to leave.
Got to be worth a good bit more than £500k though. Good attitude, good player, nice to have our players in demand at a time when we're not under pressure to sell.

I resisted pointing that out after being accused of being pedantic yesterday. Or maybe he DID mean it!

You are quite correct Roger. I suspect there may well be a copy of "Eats, shoots and leaves" on your coffee table which is well thumbed and that you enthrall your dinner guests with anecdotes which illustrate the correct use of the semi-colon, the ampersand et cetera, et cetera. Do you get out much these days Roger?

It is good that you and Roger and your ilk are around to stop the further corruption of the Queen's English. LOL!

That would be "you, Roger and your ilk" I think Ellie. Commas not your favourite thing? ☹☹

I think the use of the second "and" obviates the need for the comma, Roger; questionable style, perhaps, but grammatically correct.

Agreed - its the use of the two consecutive ands which is questionable!
