That pic looks like it's from 1977 silver jubilee the street parties celebrating the event was certainly hugely popular south of the border .

There was even a jubilee beer out during my time in Middlesbrough .real fine it was too.

Sweden beat the US on penalties after parking the bus for the whole game. The Yanks are still whingeing about it.

I understand where they are coming from. If you are not first you lose is the way I see it also.

A silver or a bronze is just a reminder that were not good enough to be the champion
