Well done Ireland for hanging in for a goaless draw in Copenhagen. Ugly game, two poor sides really but there you go!

And even better that Denmark not only beat Rep Ireland in their own back garden in the 2nd leg Woody, they totally humiliated them 1-5. Time for a few Carlsberg Exports to celebrate that result.
And that means both the Irish teams are out along with Greece & Italy!! (yes the azzuri blu mob arent going to the world cup, what a shock that is).
Credit where its due to Sweden, Switzerland, Croatia, & Denmark for winning their 2 legged play-offs. I wonder if we/England will draw any of them in next years finals ?.

Fulham now leading Sheffield United 2-1. Good for us if it stays like that.

Bolton leading Reading 2-0 and Sheff United now level, Villa 1-0 up v Sunderland. As I type Fulham retake the lead.

With the exception of Bolton who kicked of late, the remaining games are into the last twenty and the results are going for us at the moment. Villa now 2-1 and Fulham winning 4-2. Derby lead QPR 2-0. Preston lead Bristol City 1-0 away. burton have just made it 1-1 at Brentford.

Sheffield United 4-5 Fulham, what a game this one must be to have been at. I thought i'd seen plenty of drama in the Sevilla v Liverpool game that finished 3-3.
