Belgium beat Tunisia 5-2 earlier today. Mexico currently up 2-0 on Korea Republic, pretty much guaranteeing that they advance to the knockouts and huge favorites to win the group and probably avoid Brazil in the first round.

Thought Sweden were robbed of a penalty opportunity. Rudiger hit Berg’s plant leg while Berg was shooting, obviously affecting the shot. Didn’t even get VAR. Still seem to be working out the kinks in this system.

Germany have been putting so much pressure on Sweden this half. I imagine this is what their goal was against Mexico as well. Sweden have so little energy left, their counters are not incisive like they were in the first. Need subs but another German goal seems inevitable.

Boateng gets a second yellow, deservedly. Can’t believe it took the ref that long. Otherwise, Sweden would have felt the refs were incredibly unjust with them. Germany down to 10 men. Sweden can clinch a knockout stage spot for both them and Mexico with a late goal.
Also, will be interesting how Germany line up against Korea now, especially if Hummels can’t play again. Potentially top 2 defenders out.
