Add to the above now that Vertonghen has been sent off. He deserved the second yellow, having laid the ball off his follow through caught Lacazette.

A good win for Arsenal, Emery must take a lot of credit for making changes for the start of the second half bring on both Lacazette and Ramsey.

Cardiff are coming back down to earth with a bump after beating Wolves last Friday, they are currently losing 3-0 at West Ham after missing a penalty at 0-0. Bournemouth lead Huddersfield 2-1 and Brighton are 3-0 up at home to Palace.

It was good to read last night about Burton Albion's win over Middlesbrough last night to reach the semi-final of the Carabao Cup. Spurs are currently 2-0 up at Arsenal, Dele Alli with the pick of the Spurs goals, the first one wasn't that bad either from Son!

With the greatest respect Mich I think you will find there will be absolute zero interest in this tournament on or around this board and that includes me. It's a culture thing mate. Of course I may be proved wrong!

If I recall, I do believe there were some posts during the WWC in 2015. Especially with England reaching the semifinals. I’ll be watching and posting this summer and if nobody joins me I don’t mind talking to myself

"I don’t mind talking to myself". Hey, why not, it's nice to have an intelligent conversation occasionally!

As it stands today Wolves look like they are going to drop to tenth in the table. The biggest shock of the day so far is Palace leading 3-1 at Man.City.
