Newcastle, very much like sandwell, haven't really played anyone decent bar Spurs.

Tonight's Monday night football brings together Arsenal Wenger's Arsenal, a side with a passing game that many sides envy, and then there's Tony Pulis's albion, i'll leave it at that!

Both sides have already had chances, Sanchez with a free-kick and Rodriguez's effort that hit the post, Livermore's follow up was poor.

    Evening

    Such a contrast in styles.

One plays football, the other, well....doesn't.

1-0 Arsenal, quality free-kick from Sanchez that deserved a goal, it's a pity it didn't go in, but Lacazette makes no mistake.

Daft as it sounds Rodriguez could have scored an hat-trick in this half.

Lacazette with his and Arsenal's second, a bit of breathing space for the gunners now. It's funny how the penalty was given, out the penalty box and probably isn't given for easing a player off the ball.

albion's best chances came in the first half, but they offered very little threat in the second.
