    Firstly, well done to PostmanPete who took the bonus point. Carlisle's crowd was 5058 and he was only ONE away. That's world-class Predicto that is. The rest didn't go so well. Four games generated no points whatsoever and the highest effort was Buc's 7. They must be putting summat into the water in Aberdeen. The Beast seems content to cement bottom spot, managing only 2. The rest of us were in between so no major movements in this week's table, though Piglet's joined me at the top again, and now only three points separate the top five.

    1= Griff...........(4) 98
    1= Piglet.........(5) 98
    3 Howoldboy....(5) 97
    4 Cayambe......(4) 96
    5 NZBlue.........(3) 95

    11 Chalky........(5) 74
    12 Beast.........(2) 67

    As last week demonstrated - check points/maths please.

    First things first. If you come on here declaring that you're going to SHINE this week, you'd better deliver. I know how to get things shiny, so whatever it was that you were rubbing, Beast, it didn't work. Bottom score again with 2.

    Next, the bonus. I made it three 0-0 finishes, so a point apiece to Cayambe, Howoldboy and Piglet.

    Congratulations to Pete, Buc and AussieBranch who made double figures. Also to NZBlue whose 9 took him to top spot. In fact it was all change up there and now only 2 points separate the top 6 entrants. Plenty of weeks still to go though, so if you have thoughts of a sneaky week off, you might regret it. Check maths/points etc.

    1 NZBlue.........(9) 104
    2 Howoldboy....(6) 103
    3= Griff...........(4) 102
    3= Pete.........(11) 102
    5= Piglet.........(3) 101
    5= Cayambe....(5) 101
    7= Deezel.........(5) 95
    7= CAB...........(10) 95
    9 Buc.............(11) 94
    10 Southblue.....(6) 93
    11 Chalky..........(6) 80
    12 Beast...........(2) 69
    .............................
    EOB................(2) 44

    I'm almost tempted to do THIS...

    Championship
    1 NZBlue.........(9) 104
    2 Howoldboy....(6) 103
    3= Griff...........(4) 102
    3= Pete.........(11) 102
    5= Piglet.........(3) 101
    5= Cayambe....(5) 101

    League 1
    1= Deezel.........(5) 95
    1= CAB...........(10) 95
    3 Buc.............(11) 94
    4 Southblue......(6) 93

    League 2
    1 Chalky..........(6) 80
    2 Beast...........(2) 69

    National League
    EOB................(2) 44

    Good job I'm not that cruel.

    Right, well those four teams scored 7 goals (Luton 6, Blackpool 1) so the bonus went to Pete. He needed it too. Buc top-scored with 10, and he's flown up to equal 6th. Howoldboy seems to have got into a pattern of charging up and down the table; this week it's down again from 2nd to equal 6th with a grand score of 1. There's now only ten points between the top ten competitors. First is NZBlue and tenth is CUFCAussieBranch, so the AML is quite easy to define: NZBLUE'S WINNING IT. He's winning everything at present tbf.

    Start studying form lads and watch out for postponements.

    1 NZBlue...........(7) 111
    2 Griff...............(6) 108
    3= Piglet...........(6) 107
    3= Cayambe......(6) 107
    5 Pete..............(4) 106
    6= Howoldboy....(1) 104
    6= Buc............(10) 104
    8 Deezel...........(8) 103

    Right, let's get the bonus out of the way. Cambridge, Sheffield Utd, Peterborough, Bristol Rovers, Wolves, Fulham and Newcastle all scored 4 or more, so the correct answer was 7. So, an extra point to Southblue, NZBlue and myself. Another good week for Buc who has quietly crept up to fifth by stealth. He'll be trying to annex the Sudetenland next. Deezel's also making decent progress while Piglet and Howoldboy and heading in the other direction. Southblue and I were the only one to get 2 scores correct which is why we've both moved up this week. Also, an honourable mention to the Beast. He got 8 out of 12 results correct. If only a couple of his scores had been right........

    Incidentally, this weeks average score was 6.75 so if you scored 6.75 (I know) or more, well done. The average individual score in the whole competition so far has been only 5.69 per week out of a possible 25 which, when you think about it, is a bit shit. Which proved nowt other than anyone can still win this with a bit of effort.

    1 Griff.............(10) 118
    2 NZBlue...........(5) 116
    3= Cayambe......(6) 113
    3= Pete............(7) 113
    5 Buc...............(8) 112
    6= Piglet...........(4) 111
    6= Deezel..........(8) 111
    6= Southblue.....(9) 111

    Firstly, welcome aboard hgatenasty. You start as an EOB on 49 so although you're bottom you still stand a chance as the rest of us aren't all that good. We were all pretty average this week apart from Piglet who continues his slump down the table (that formulaic approach isn't working) and turboDeezel whose second consecutive 8 has moved him up to third.

    The bonus went to Buc whose punt of 12 was closest to the actual number of away wins - 15. That's about 45% of the EFL games that ended as draws. I didn't see that coming. Actually, none of us did.

    1 Griff...............(3) 121
    2 NZBlue...........(4) 120

    Ta Buc, I try my best. This weekends event will be the MONDAY EFL fixtures and, as a special present, there will be a TRIPLE bonus, just for Boxing Day. I bet you all just can't wait, eh?

    Warm Christmas congratulations to Southblue this week His top score of 9 lifted him from seventh to second. Lowest score was 3, relegating NZBlue and Deezel to third and fourth. Cayambe didn't join us this week so also suffers a subsequent slide.

    Bonuses were won by three of us:
    Bonus 1: There were 17 goals so Chalky took the point as he was nearest with 15.
    Bonus 2: Crowds were 21,874; 8,515; 10,257 and 5,854 giving a grant total of 46,500. I was nearest with 44,444.
    Bonus 3: The first goal was scored in the eight minute. Nasty was spot-on.

    Chalky's 8 moves him closer to the main pack, whilst mine delivered a 5 point gap between me and Southblue.

    Check points/maths as usual.

    Top score was only 7 this week, but with a couple of non-entrants, and others scoring 1 and 2, there have been some changes in the table; Piglet is back up to 6th and Deezel has continued his slow rise and joins Southblue in second place. If only Bury were playing as well. Congratulations to Chalky, who was the only one of use to foresee QPR beating Wolves, and to Howoldboy who took the bonus point by correctly suggesting that there would be 27 goals in the 12 games.

    Well done all. Check points and maths as usual.
