Great result for the team, as my two pals are Hibs fans it is particularly pleasing especially as one of them said "who" when I was so pleased about Dobbie signing, scored one made one , now he knows, yessssssssssssss

What a night. Dobbie on the scoresheet and goals for two of the new boys. Onwards and upwards!

So happy I was able to go to the game tonight. Great victory for Queens with some superb goals! Dobbie effortless in his performance and just breathed confidence through the side. The decision to take hammil off was a good one as he was looking like getting a red and just seemed to be completely out of sync with the rest of the team. Onwards and upwards.

Brilliant result and so pleased that Dobbie got his first goal since coming back and also that 2 other new boys (Anderson & Dykes) got off the mark as well.

Robinson made some decent saves keeping us in the game before we got our goals.

Hamill had a stinker and was rightly substitute and his replacement Brotherston did really well when he came on.

Hope Hilson is ok after going off injured early in the 2nd half as it would be a huge shame if he is out again for a long time like last season.

Good to see that the draw for the next round is after the Celtic v Motherwell game and the dates for the next round are 20\21 September.

Never saw that result coming at all , - and fully expected Hibs to stroll the game.

A good doze of humble pie has been scoffed!

Chuffed for Dykes and Brotherston, as I have watched their progress in the 17's and 20's and have been most impressed.

Dykes tends to be pretty reliable, but the young Brotherston boy can blow hot and cold, - so the fans need to nurture these lads ( a wee bit) if they're having an off day.

We weren't able to press Hibs like we did United on Saturday and most of the first hour was played in our half. But Hibs didn't take their chances and when Dobs came on, with them playing 3 at the back, they fell to some clinical counter attacking from us. Their goal was a bit scabby, all three of ours were class efforts.

Dobmeister will get a lot of praise but this was a great team effort and that last 20 minutes will stay long in the memory.

Bounceballgate has finally been avenged and how!

Yes Tam a great TEAM effort with the icing on the cake of Dobbie scoring and also making goal number 3 - his record now is 89 starts, 17 on the bench 56 goals.
