14 minutes. Crawley equalise through unmarked Enzio Boldewijn's header at the near post from a corner. Becoming a problem for Wolves it seems.

From what I'm reading doesn't seem like Lonergan will be replacing Ikeme any time soon ...

I can see some changes in the second half. I can't imagine WZ wants to end up with egg on his face after this game!

It depends how you look at it, first competitive game for the club, a few shaky moments early on, but also came off his line to deny the Crawley attack. He probably won't get as much as an understanding with the back four that Ikeme has. Even then, the defence may let him down, as with Crawley's equaliser last night.

The good thing for Wolves and Zenga was to get the first win of the season. Teixeira looked lively, as he did on Saturday, Costa also looks like he has something about him, not afraid to attack, despite being obstructed a couple of times.

A few things Wolves need to work on is defending at set-pieces and also our free-kicks in the first half, each one would have looked more at home in a game of Rugby, conversions through the posts. For the first goal, a good Wolves move involving Wallace, finished off by Mason. Both sides also having efforts cleared off the line. The winner may have been a scrappy goal, but Bod doing his bit to knock the ball back and Coady with the finish. Wolves are at least in the next round. The game last night could have been a potential banana skin, , but thankfully Wolves didn't fall like a few championship sides.

We have drawn Cambridge United at Molineux for the second round of the League Cup. To be played August 23. Could see a little cup run if we take it seriously
