As for my advice, follow a Millers philosophy and back all the ones where the jockey is in red and white. May not be scientific but probably as good as any of the other advice you'll get on here

I don't know much about horses either but I've been to Donny races a few time, enjoyable day out and even better when there's a show on.
Just let your lass choose she'll probably have more luck than you
Cam has a problem with spellings
Villa, please give the tickets away and go to Villa.
Not wanting to dampen your planned day but Donny Races are abysmal pal.
I organized a leaving do and went to Donny 2 weeks ago, we had good tickets but the whole day was crap pal.
Be prepared to be ripped off and to queue for ages for a beer pal.
With a username like yours, get yourselves to Villa pal
Donny Races is W@nk pal!!!
There's more than one bar, I had no problem getting drinks.
Take your own sarnies though unless you back a few winners
Millertop, Donny Races are sh1t pal, trust me. I go racing all the time and would say Donny is one of if not the worse there is.
Get to Villa, Villa.
