    Hibs 2-1 Dunfermline

Good result, not the best performance, but that's us opened the season with two wins, and two wins over two sides who will probably be amongst the strongest sides we will face.

Superb crowd aswell. 16,477, with 1,000 Pars.

    Ratings:

Laidlaw - 7 - Made a few stops, I actually can comment on their goal, as I was looking at my phone for score updates, I looked up to see that wee Hearts rat have a tap in.

Sir David Gray - 6 - Thought he was quiet today, got caught out under a few crosses.

Fontaine - 7 - Defended well, typical Fonts.

    McGregor - 7 - Solid as per.

Hanlon - 7 - Few hairy moments, but his usual self

Stevenson - 5 - Thought he was poor today, still cant beat a man and cross a ball.

Bartley - 6 - Works his balls off, but wasn't at his best.

McGinn - 8 - Brilliant as per. If Cummings is worth more than £1.7m, this boy is worth a ****eload.

Keatings - 6 - Don't like him in midfield, doesn't create enough, Mind you he tracked back well......

Cummings - 7 - Goal, hit the post, but I wish he'd stay on his feet...

Holt - 6 - Worked hard, but nowt came off, probably should have scored a couple, think he will score us a few.

    Subs:

Boyle - 7 - Along with McGeouch, changed the game. His pace and directness troubled them.

McGeouch - 7 - If we can keep him fit, what a player, sublime pass to set up goal and NEVER gives away the ball.

    Forster - 2 - Got about 60 seconds.

I won't be popular with this but still feel we need to look at a better left back who can give us better quality crosses into the box.
