As the preview indicates Dunfermline is not too happy a hunting ground for Queens but never fear as we currently have a fairly lethal attack and are conceding few goals so far this season. With a settled squad of players who have already proved themselves at Tannadice and Easter Road we can equal these achievements today and maintain our momentum.
    Mon the South.

Another 3 points & another clean sheet . What a start to the season for Queens , praying Lyndon Dykes injury isn't too serious as he looked in real pain

Wasn't the best performance but another 3 points on the board.

Great to see Lyle getting the only goal of the game right on ht but I thought his free kick that stuck both posts was really unlucky not to go in.

Dunfermline came really close to scoing late on which I personally thought that there were going to score but it got cleared of the line by Hamill.

It was a shame for Dykes to pick up a injury as for me he has been playing great this season and we can only hope that it was not as bad as it look.

Also Jordan Marshall had a excellent game and was my MOTM.

An overall deserved win but as usual for Queens fans we had the inevitable nail-biting wait for the final whistle. Congratulations to Derek Lyle on reaching his 100 goal landmark and he was very unlucky it didn't arrive earlier with the free-kick hitting both posts before being cleared. An excellent time to get his goal though , right on the stoke of half-time. An unfortunate injury to Lyndon Dykes took a bit of the shine off the result, hopefully he won't be out too long. Unfortunately just one of the things that can happen and certainly didn't seem any malice in the tackle by the Pars player. So 3rd place after four games, things are looking good, better than many could have hoped for a couple of weeks before the season started, still a long way to go but at least there is a belief and feelgood factor about the Club and amongst the fans just now which will hopefully keep going for a while yet.
