    Could this be our year?

I'm not normally one to start new threads, but as it has been quiet in here of late I thought it would be good to begin a more "up beat" discussion.

Despite being an eternal pessimist, I've a good feeling about this season. Am I right in thinking we are now the only unbeaten team in League 2? I think today was a good result following the long tiring (I assume) game against Derby.

A little concerned that we may not be scoring the amount of goals we should be, but for the first time in a number of years the defence seems to holding out and say what you want about Curle's style of football, he must be getting some tactical decisions right.

Not a regular attendee these days, so can't really comment on whether our position accurately reflects our performances, but it is nice to be in the position we are. Would welcome thoughts and opinions from more "die-hard" fans.

Our defence seems to be slightly better than last year but our midfield is hugely better. Unfortunately we're not clicking up front yet and this is where we risk throwing points away. Get that sorted and we should be a cert for the playoffs, and maybe even an automatic spot if we steer clear of injuries.

I'm more optimistic than for a long time. Curle seems to be able to work with the board even if no-one else can.

Last game of this year you play Notts and I doubt that there will be repeat of last seasons fiasco, looking forward to a New Years Day hangover
