Moult's spot kick takes a point

A second half penalty from Louis Moult earned Motherwell a point in Dingwall in a match that was full of effort but little silky football. Not a bad result on a lovely day in the Highlands. - External Link

It was a point we just deserved though they will feel they lost two. McDonald's experience won us the game.

A hard fought point but we can't be too unhappy with the outcome. Mark McGhee surprised us all with a fairly cautious line up following the loss of Johnson. It seems he's still trying to work out his best starting 11. Good to see Moult come back and score. A point apiece was about right.

    Mmm.

The tradition is away points are rarely to be sniffed at and while that's still true to an extent, too many draws home or away will see you stalling pretty quickly. It also builds the pressure up week after week - if a run of draws ends with a win all's fine and you're suddenly on a solid unbeaten run. If it ends with a loss, you're suddenly winless in however many.

Winning or losing on Saturday won't define our season with more than 30 games left but lose to Accies and the minor worries we've had so far will look a lot bloody bigger.
