    My wife's Irish uncle has text me saying a barman over there had mentioned to him that he played under Rowan Alexander in 1996. The name is John Barrett. I haven't heard of him but thought you might. If he was at Queens , he was possibly one of Norman Blounts first influx of young players who were learning a trade as well as playing football .

    No one of thst name played in first team but will ask Queens top expert Ian Black if he was a youth player

    Ian cannot find anyone of that name Hammer but there were loads of young trialists at Palmy when Alexander was in charge.
