Why, exactly, is it unbelievable that Alan Brazil "still loves the club"?

I'll get the 'tumbleweed' gif ready...
"He was the boss of Celtic Boys' Club - a highly respected figure at Celtic Park, a millionaire businessman in the Scottish community, a so-called pillar of the establishment." - Alan Brazil.

The organisation that Torbett was in charge of was not affiliated in any way with Celtic football club.
I'm not sure how much clearer I can make this.

The Only Official Celtic Boys Club

The Celtic Boys Club was formed in 1966 with the simple aim of providing youngsters in Glasgow with the opportunity to take part in organised games of football. The club prides itself in the success of its alumni both in sports as well as their personal lives. Its place in the community remains a well respected community club.

The Celtic Boys Club is a non-profit organisation that solely relies on efforts from volunteers with an interest in football. Its coaches are strongly encouraged to take up all necessary SFA coaching to help better develop the youngsters under their supervision.

The club adheres to a code of conduct and expects all involved in its activities to abide by it. It has set a Code of Practice and Vetting Procedures for Staff and Volunteers working with Children and Young People under 18 years of age.

Although an independent organisation in its own right, The Boys Club has a long and proud association with Celtic Football Club which has proved of mutual benefit over the years.

Oh dear, how silly I have been. They wear green and grey hoops and call themselves “Celtic Boys Club” and to my eternal shame I didn’t realise they were actually developing young players for Partick Thistle

So there you have it folks, ra Sellikbhoysclub have to run themselves on a shoestring without the financial support of one of the richest football clubs in Britain, who of course have benefited so much over the years from young players who were developed there.

    It’s Rasellik Way
