    Yahoos at it again

“Celtic just brushed this under the carpet."

Must keep the name clean at all costs, now where have I heard that before?

Shameful, one wonders why it was allowed to go on for seven years, and shame on her workmates, one also wonders how hard your d1ck is at the moment, or is this one of those things you left Scotland for?

I wondered who would be first to post this IQ or Sheila.

Sounds terrible what she went through with this guy. It sounds though like as soon it was formally raised an investigation took place and the guy was gone. Not clear if he was sacked or resigned.

As for the Torbett comparisons which Sheila is obviously alluding to. He wasn't an employee of Celtic when the alleged (at the time) abuse took place but Stein made sure he got nowhere near Celtic Park after hearing about it.

    "Donna still loves the club"

Probably the saddest words in the whole sordid tale.

The club that abused her almost as much as the beast of a man who behaved lick a knuckle dragging caveman.

And the club that Alan Brazil, quite unbelievably still loves

BTW, why is the scumbag not facing criminal charges over this? Oh wait, he’s an ex cop. He’s got the biggest and most corrupt gang in Scotland looking after him. If I groped a woman’s arse in a checkout queue in Tesco, I’d get the jail

And the most disgusting thing on this board today is that some of the resident yahoos don’t think we should talk about it. They would rather we had an 8 pager on the meaning of a slogan on a flag.

"Stein made sure he got nowhere near Celtic Park"

Yes but he also made sure he was free to walk the streets, potentially to abuse other young boys.

He wasn't employed by Celtic and nothing had been substantiated at the time. Back then attitudes towards child abuse was different, it wasn't talked about. Employers didn't have child protection policies, police didn't take it seriously and didn't know how to deal with it. Thankfully in the last couple of decades there has been a societal shift in dealing with child abuse.

I'm sure Willie Waddell the then Rangers manager laughing when he said Rangers fans beat up their wives after a defeat would have different attitude now.

Shouldn't be used for TFT on here.

“nothing had been substantiated at the time”

Er, isn’t that the police’s job. To substantiate or otherwise, things that are brought to their attention.

“Shouldn't be used for TFT on here.”

Funny that, the yahoos use all sorts of things for TFT on here. Suddenly there are certain things that are out of bounds. Wonder why.

Police had a shocking attitude to handling child abuse at the time. Most victims never said anything and if they did they weren't believed or dismissed by police.

If you want to play in the gutter Rangers fans had a banner last weekend claiming no children had been harmed at their club. I am not sure Sheriff James Irvine Smith agrees. Do you want to have an open discussion on that? or are things like this better kept away from TFT?

Correct. But if the case had been handed to them and they had bungled it, then the blame would have been theirs.
