    Yahoos at it again

“Celtic just brushed this under the carpet."

Must keep the name clean at all costs, now where have I heard that before?

Shameful, one wonders why it was allowed to go on for seven years, and shame on her workmates, one also wonders how hard your d1ck is at the moment, or is this one of those things you left Scotland for?

I wondered who would be first to post this IQ or Sheila.

Sounds terrible what she went through with this guy. It sounds though like as soon it was formally raised an investigation took place and the guy was gone. Not clear if he was sacked or resigned.

As for the Torbett comparisons which Sheila is obviously alluding to. He wasn't an employee of Celtic when the alleged (at the time) abuse took place but Stein made sure he got nowhere near Celtic Park after hearing about it.

"Stein made sure he got nowhere near Celtic Park"

Yes but he also made sure he was free to walk the streets, potentially to abuse other young boys.

He wasn't employed by Celtic and nothing had been substantiated at the time. Back then attitudes towards child abuse was different, it wasn't talked about. Employers didn't have child protection policies, police didn't take it seriously and didn't know how to deal with it. Thankfully in the last couple of decades there has been a societal shift in dealing with child abuse.

I'm sure Willie Waddell the then Rangers manager laughing when he said Rangers fans beat up their wives after a defeat would have different attitude now.

Shouldn't be used for TFT on here.

You could have posted it yourself and condemned the actions of the *** abuser who was allowed to leave quietly and find employment elsewhere, he should have been investigated by the police, charged with ***ual assault and jailed, but that would have meant publicity and the name of the yahoos connected to *** abuse again, sadly those in charge chose to hide it away and sweep it under the carpet preventing the victim any closure and feeling guilty.

Celtic have dealt with this in identical fashion as they did before, they allowed the pedophile Torbett to carry on with his abuse and even brought him back to the club at a later date, Stein to his credit did indeed boot the beast right out the club, but that was to keep the name of the club clean, he done the decent thing and should not be blamed for any part of it, however the Kelly family knew of the abuse and defended Torbett.

"Torbett had been kicked out in 1976 after being confronted by the committee and, according to Frank Cairney's account of the meeting, had broken down in tears and confessed." - Scotland on Sunday 1996

You also say it was different back then and no one would have believed the victims and you may be partly right, the children being abused may not have been believed, but considering it was an open secret and he had confessed, any number of influential figures within Celtic could have spoken up, but chose not to, pedophiles rely on fear from their victims, that is why it is essential when others find out for them to report it, saying "it was different back then" is quite pathetic, child molesters were jailed in the 70's and had Kevin Kelly or any other who knew what was going on reported the crime he would have gone to prison, as it was it was covered up.

"He was the boss of Celtic Boys' Club - a highly respected figure at Celtic Park, a millionaire businessman in the Scottish community, a so-called pillar of the establishment." - Alan Brazil.

You have used these "he was not an employee", and "Celtic boys club was not officially connected to Celtic", yet it bred players such as; Roy Aitken, Tom Boyd, Alan Brazil, Gerry Britton, Mark Burchill, Tommy Burns, Simon Donnelly, Peter Grant, George McCluskey, Paul McStay, David Moyes and Charlie Nicholas.

There are also the reports of Frank Cairney who allegedly abused kids in 1991-
"In 1991 the boys' club had been to Kearney, New Jersey - an annual tour to the Irish part of the state with players staying at the homes of Catholic families -and one boy, no longer at Celtic but now a professional player in Scotland, had alleged to his hosts and to his own family that he had been assaulted by the team's general manager, Frank Cairney."
"However, signed statements were taken by Celtic's lawyers from the four adults who had been on the New Jersey trip. All were sworn to silence. Cairney was now away from the football club and its nursery - business commitments was the given reason - but Jim Torbett was back playing a major role, first as a fund-raiser then back with the boys' club. Torbett had maintained his connections with Celtic, board member Kevin Kelly, still honorary president of the boys' club, is a fellow director of Torbett's company The Trophy Centre, and current board member Jack McGinn is an employee. " - Scotland on Sunday 1996

Celtic have never been brought to bear on this and the full extent of the abuse will never be known, most of the victims will take the secret to their graves due to some misplace loyalty to the yahoos, and this latest revelation proves once again that the yahoo will do anything to protect the name of that club, even if it means ruining the lives of those who dedicate their lives to it.

Surprised the hun vermin rolf wants to revisit a topic which saw him rightfully red-carded under the previous setup. Like the serial criminal who runs Sevco from afar, rolf the poolboy just doesn't seem able to move on from his abhorrent behaviour.

    "Donna still loves the club"

Probably the saddest words in the whole sordid tale.

The club that abused her almost as much as the beast of a man who behaved lick a knuckle dragging caveman.

And the club that Alan Brazil, quite unbelievably still loves

BTW, why is the scumbag not facing criminal charges over this? Oh wait, he’s an ex cop. He’s got the biggest and most corrupt gang in Scotland looking after him. If I groped a woman’s arse in a checkout queue in Tesco, I’d get the jail

And the most disgusting thing on this board today is that some of the resident yahoos don’t think we should talk about it. They would rather we had an 8 pager on the meaning of a slogan on a flag.

Why exactly is it unbelievable that Alan Brazil "still loves the club"?
No-one employed by Celtic touched him.
No-one connecetd with any organisation affiliated with Celtic touched him, so tell us all, in your own words:
Why, exactly, is it unbelievable that Alan Brazil "still loves the club"?

I'll get the 'tumbleweed' gif ready...
