    Sons v South

Looking forward to my visit to Dumbarton this weekend . I see they've a couple of important players suspended and hopefully we didn't pick up any injuries against Hibernian on Saturday .
Is there any news on how Marshall is and what's the scrip with Calum Tapping ?

3 points would be fantastic what with Hibs & Dundee United playing each other on Sunday

Played them 5 times times last season -3 wins to Queens and 2 to Dumbarton - the last time we met in April was one of the Doonhamers worst performances of what was a poor season - the Sons won 4 - 2 which hastened Mr Fowler's departure from the hot seat at Palmy.

This match is the proverbial banana skin for Queens and one which they should treat as if they were playing Hibs, Falkirk or Dundee Utd, the 3 clubs who look as though they will be the main contenders for promotion.

Too right! Sons have a decent home record. We have to give them respect but go for the jugular. Would love to see us do that high press that the team did at Tannadice.

Think we could still be missing Marshall and possibly Jacobs.

Tam, I meant to add that we will need to treat the Sons as though they were Hibs, Falkirk and Dundee Utd, - who look as though they will be the main contenders for promotion........along with Queens of course!

I was witness to the last match at Dumbarton and I agree that it was one of the worst displays of last season.

Hopefully be better on Saturday with a blend of new players and the ones still there from last season.

Let's not get carried away with ourselves and stick to Skelton's principal of taking it one game at a time. This starts with Dumbarton away on Saturday which will require the teams full attention and especially commitment.

So finally - and I stress finally - we know Tapping is injured ( what a surprise ) .
