    telegraph sting operation

Along with big Sam they have also got footage of Jimmy floyd hasslebank,Tommy Wright and Leeds owner cellino on film(even though on this one occasion I see he has done nothing wrong)
this has opened a massive can of worms
now if only they can track venkys down.

The Venkys have done absolutely nothing wrong. I'm sorry to tell you that Robin. They are just not football people. That's not criminal.
The Venkys wouldn't even be here had Rovers been handed a local mans millions. What goes around come around. I wish the money had never come in personally. No money, and we wouldn't have been part of the whole corrupt thing. I'll bet there have been unsavoury things going on inside our club well before they turned up.

I have openly stated venkys have just shown extreme naivety and stupidity
the reason why I have said it would be good for the telegraph to catch up with them is over the illegal running of a football club by an agent
the key decisions which has brought us to where we are were heavily influenced by Jerome Anderson
    that is illegal
also while we are there maybe they can explain why the debt stays the same despite the transfer fees coming in
strange that the miscellaneous column in the accounts rises as well.

They need to catch up with Steve Kean. But why do you keep aiming this towards Venkys? Do you not think your missing the point? They haven't been fleecing us? Steve Kean will have. Eric Black will have. Sam Allardyce definitely will have. That's who needs looking into. Not the guys who have pumped in millions. They just pumped in millions and made bad decisions. The likes of Allardyce, Black etc ....they where calculated attacks on our finances. Remember we paid Allardyce off for being ****e. Like Newcastle did. Like West Ham did.
And while all this is out, I'll put my house on Owen Coyle not being involved. The guy who gets an absolute slating. He will actually be ok. Everyone ....including you Robin, has been well & truly hoodwinked.

Yes your right they do need to catch up with kean and Anderson however are we so sure venkys are not aware of the goings on
clueless in running a football club does not mean they havnt got money flying under the table
I bet in the kean/Anderson era it was brown envelopes all over the shop with venkys very much aware of the goings on.

I think the problems go much deeper and further back than Kean etc. Of course they where bent. But to even suggest Allardyce wasn't doing anything wrong in his time with us, is pretty nieve IMO. Don't forget ....he was outed as a crook with his son while at Bolton. It may not have been followed through, but I bet my life what we are hearing now is merely the tip of the iceberg) His best mate who managed Man Utd (whom Big Sam used to through games to ....anyone who was sat in OT when we lost 7-1 will testify to) was also a big time crook. And it's likely that most inside football are really dodgy too. Just one look at Harry Redknapp and you just know he was too. And that was way before he was outed. People inside football cut corners look to cream off the top. And take full advantage of the obscene amounts of money coming into the game, almost unchecked. Some academy boss gets paid a huge incentive for some young kid to make a first team appearance and so on .....
While I accept the owners made monumental mistakes, they aren't football people. And probably aren't fully ware what goes on behind the scenes. Or their backs. We as fans are treated like this, by the likes of Big Sam etc etc. But a company self made, successful in the way they grew that business from nothing to turning over hundreds of millions are probably likely to be ok.
I don't trust a crap footballer who did nothing in his career, and has been largely awful in his managerial career but talks a good game. Been paid off millions for doing average at best at most clubs he's ever been at. Who ironically has just been exposed. As the facts tell you that.
A company who are self made and successful are just that. It just so happens they have made a whole load of mistakes. Probably unknowingly. Big Sam knew exactly what he was doing.
