How do you know the people of Scotland don't want a second referendum ? The SNP manifesto clearly stated if there was a material change in circumstances and Brexit is a such a change they reserve the right to put it to the Scottish people and the Scottish people gave them a mandate on this and returned them to power. This is NOT a rerun of 2014 its a completely different situation. Leaving aside how the no voters were completely lied too and given false promises one being the only way to stay in the EU was to vote No. how would you square this RMDU ?
If the electorate wanted independece they would have voted for it in the first place, the polls post brexit show no signs of a huge swing to justify indy2, the SNP haven't shown in any shape or form that they are any better at running the country than the previous incompetents, in fact they are showing to be worse than the complacent useless turds of the Labour party.

"The SNP manifesto clearly stated if there was a material change in circumstances and Brexit is a such a change", - had Yes won Scotland would have had to ask to join the EU, that much is abundantly clear now since Brexit with the major countries telling Sturgeon to phuk off and its the whole UK that goes, this angle is pathetic.

"Leaving aside how the no voters were completely lied too and given false promises one being the only way to stay in the EU was to vote No", - no one was "lied" to, the UK government actively campaigned to remain with the outcome being a major surprise to everyone, lets not forget 2 in 5 nationalists voted to leave the EU also. Folk I know that voted Yes will not do so in another referendum because of Brexit, their stance has changed and more Yessers will change sides if this goes ahead.

Now could you please highlight to where within my previous post the "xenophobia" accusation is relevant?

The UK Gov actively campaigned to remain ? The whole Tory party was split down the middle ! The Cabinet were split they basically danced to UKIP tune on this one. There is a huge change in attitude from the people of England and sadly its based on anti immigration and xenophobia this has been whipped up by UKIP and right wing Tories. and the MSM in England. its a real shame. The Tories were quite happy with this agenda as they hammered the country with their austerity policies. So don't tell me they were serious about remain it was halfhearted at best. Scotland voted to remain and are now being dragged out against its will ...THAT IS A MATERIAL CHANGE and justifies any future referendum .

Don't know how long you've been in Oz RMDU but had you been in Scotland during the referendum you would have seen project fear in full flow every day some totally unfounded scare story down right lies and half truths for two years the Scottish people were bombarded with this brought to them by the Unionist MSM and of not forgetting the British states mouthpiece the BBC. The UK didn't win the referendum they battered the Scots into submission. And now all their cr@p is beginning to fall apart bit by bit. 1000 tax jobs safe with us....1000 tax jobs gone !! Carbon capture plant gone.. Renewable subsdies ..gone EU membership ..gone And there is the pensions one of t5he Biggest lies told in the campaign and the one more than any got them the victory. We had Better together activits well Labour party c8**ts to be honest telling our old folk on their own doorstep they would lose the pensions if they voted YES even Gordon Brown joined in... And where are we now ? the pension age has increased for women, meaning some will lose out up to £30,000. UK Government policy since the referendum means that middle to high earners will be better off through their pensions but that low earners will bear the cost of pension reforms. A Scot earning around £15,000 with a working life of 30 years, could see their pension drop £1,800 per annum. Border controls navy shipbuilding the list goes on and on .. We were phuckin lied to and conned big time. the xenophobia comes from the first couple of lines from your reply just seemed to be anti immigrant but in retrospect it was harsh and I withdraw it and apologise.

Apparently a reasonable percentage of those polled said they would change their vote due to Brexit, as staying in the EU was a major reason in them voting No...

"Fear of not being in the EU may be a factor in motivating some people to vote ‘No’ to an independent Scotland. 36% of ‘No’ voters said European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso’s comments about the difficulty of an independent Scotland joining the EU would make them even more likely to vote ‘No’ to independence."

Seeing as we're going down the poll route now.................

"The appetite for a second referendum will disappoint the SNP, however, with YouGov's latest Scotland survey finding just 37% of Scots backing a second independence referendum and 50% opposed. Should they be successful in forcing another vote, the results would be almost identical to last time, with 54% of Scots voting against independence and 46% in favour."

You might also want to hear about what the guy who created the currency for the EU views are on the future of the EU, or maybe its another Britnat and project fear eh?

THE Euro is a ticking time bomb which will soon blow up and wipe out the whole EU project in its wake, the currency's creator has said in an extraordinary warning today.

I didn't write the article, but I would imagine it holds just as much water as any other source
