    Arbroath v Forfar

A win at last but we made hard work of it. Two penalties awarded, a Forfar sending off and both penalties missed in the first half. Bobby Linn took the first and there were shades of McManus' penalty miss against Montrose that signalled the start of the free fall under Moore. McCord took the second and the keeper guessed right and made a save. Some good build up play but few attempts at goal, but we should have gone in at half time two up.

Second half and a goal from Steven Doris, although Forfar players claimed it was an own goal. Whatever, it was still a goal. We were on top and Scott scored our second.

The whole defence played well with Gold solid at right back. Skelly and Malin replaced Doris and McCord after an hour or so, with Prunty coming on for Bobby Linn for the last 5 mins.

Would hope that the same defence is now kept in place as they played well together.

Never got the chance to make the game due being on the M6 (South of Carlisle) Looked a decent crowd of approx 800+ which was great considering the weather. A potential banana skin as Forfar was tanked by Montrose just before the break for Internationals/Cup fixtures.

Onwards and upwards and I will be sure to make Saturdays Scottish Cup tie against Uni Stirling.

    Cmon you Lichties.
