Buggery buggery! Missed all this as I had a late night last night. Sounds like woeful wanderers again. My guess is Zenga will be shipped out sooner than later, the Chinese don't mess about with this kind of stuff. Could work out OK though as it looks like David Moyes will be available soon!

Couldn't agree with you more, KLF.

Another game and it's a defensive mistake and chances squandered that springs to mind. The game wasn't one for the footballing purists that's for sure. I'm still trying to work out what Doherty was trying to do when he lost the ball to Sacko, if in doubt put the ball in the stands.

The first half was littered with stoppages and over the top refereeing from Atwell. Both sides could claim they did enough to go in front at the break, but i thought at the time Leeds had the two best openings, Sacko off the bar and Roofe's header that went not far wide. Yes, Wolves did have chances, Dicko's effort saved by Green, Teixeira with a couple of efforts and Costa with the one that was deflected wide.

Leeds for me were able to dictate the pace of the game, taking their time with throw-ins and free-kicks, Rob Green's goal kicks taking a long time for the ball to come into play. Leeds were also more precise in their passing and never gave any Wolves play a minute on the ball.

I commented at the game that Bodvarsson looked a yard or two off the pace at times, this may be down to him only just returning again from injury. As with the Brighton game though, he takes some physical challenges, but gets on with it.

Again the focus after the game as well as Doherty's mistake is our finishing in front of goal, just like Sacko in the first half, Costa also clipped the ball, but his chance after Leeds had scored is the one where myself and other Wolves fans will look back at, good work from sub Ola John, but Costa has to try and keep the ball down, rushed the chance more than anything. Leeds fans can also point to the Chris Wood effort just after they scored, for them it won't matter now as they've won.

Wolves are struggling big time and it's fine margins again, ie in front of goal that's letting them down. All the possession means absolutely nothing if you don't convert your chances.

It's an interesting sight looking over at the Wolves dugout that's for sure, Butti there and having more and more of an input with regards to subs. Maybe it's just a language barrier? Blackburn Rovers away next week and Wolves need to turn up, challenge for the ball and at least be on a par to the second half showing at Villa Park, but with goals included.
