Motherwell FC - Now a Fan Owned Club

Huge congratulations to all involved if putting together the final part in the ownership jigsaw. The long, long journey from administration to fan ownership is now complete.

For good or ill the club's fate is now in the hands of its supporters.

I hope everyone who can afford it will join the Society and pledge at least a tenner a month.

I'm off to raise a glass

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's the only show in town.
no mater what people's individual opinion of the idea, you can't argue with the dedication and determination to make it a reality by the people at the sharp end. They can only be comended for that.
Hopefully it starts a period of positivity and stability. Other clubs can be ran prudently and still have decent teams, let's hope we can too.
    Good luck.

I won't put in what i think of it as I've made my feelings known. Congratulations to all involved in making it happen. It must have been pretty tough going at times i would suspect. Lets hope out works out for us long term as it's the only way for us to go now.

Yes, good news. That should provide us with some stability off the pitch and remove uncertainty. The Society though needs to become more professional and the fans need to support it and therefore the very club itself.

Yes can't argue with that well reasoned account.

It is up to the fans and the community to support the Club now. Its in our hands.

Personally I'm a Well Society supporter and financial contributor but won't be attending Fir Park until McGhee is gone.

He should never ever, ever have got the job in the first place. Plus he does it part time whilst collecting cash from his old pal Gordy S. Shameful.

Now that we fans own the club, does that mean we can sack the Manager?

Managers come and go, the fans are constant. An appropriate poster for today's game...
