    Alex Pearce

Just heard AP's Radio Derby interview on the way back home and the guy sounds impressive. He's clearly doing well on the pitch, has behaved very professionally and has experience of captaining Reading. Not suggesting we swap now, although I'm much more in favour of Keogh as a player than as a captain, but if he does get injured it may be that we've found a ready made replacement skipper in Pearce.

He will need to go on an intensive "like I say" training course before he earns the right in my mind

Glad to see that he retains his place today..... knowing that JS is available should also keep him on his toes and wanting to put in an excellent shift!
