    Queens v Dundee Utd

This is the kind of game we traditionally get ourselves up for. A high level of opposition that you require yourself to get 'pumped up ' to get anything out of the game. On the plus side , the defence and goalkeeper ( barring the Morton debacle) continues to play well as a unit. I would give Brotherston a start down one wing and play Dykes down the left . Millar in for Pickard and Dobbie up top with AN OTHER ( hopefully Lyle). The first half was abysmal at Kircaldy and we need to be getting into the game far quicker than waiting for the second half to be warmed up. All We Are Saying , Is Give Us A Goal !

I'd go for the following starting 11 if available:
    Robinson
    Hamill
    Marshall
    Dowie
    Higgins
    Brotherston
    Millar
    Jacobs
    Anderson
    Dobbie
    Lyle

Less I am mistaken , there is only two days to go and no match talk at all. Well, does anyone think we will actually score a goal ? You know, put the round , bouncy thing in the net incase anyone's forgot ?

    I've a funny feeling we'll get a result this weekend .

Didn't the OS report 2 weeks ago that Lyle was out for a month ?

Looks like Hamill will be the only one of the first team regulars who will be fit to return against the Arabs on Saturday. We will just have to hope that we get some breaks of the ball and that Dobbie regains his scoring touch along with young Dykes. We can certainly give them a game and if we get after Durnan we can make his return to Dumfries very uncomfortable indeed. The forecast is good so lets get fully behind the Queens and cheer them onto a victory against one of the league favourites and get our campaign back up and running again. Mon the South

i can sniff a result against the arabs ,we have struggled against the blood and guts teams ,the arabs play more to our style ,we will have more time on the ball which will give mr dobbie more space.

Let's put last month disappointing run behind us and start November with a bang by ending this goal drought and picking up a decent result so we can light up the fireworks tonight.

    Come on Queens
