A nivva knew Brewery Stand used to be shorter. Tha cuddent see the join when it wo extended.

Love the Ticket Office shed bottom left. Used to queue darnt road. Queues allus seemed to gu faster. All tha did wo pay thi heyf crarn and tha got a ticket to stand anyweer. No farting abart wi computers and numbered seats.

The West Stand Bogs were a touch of luxury in them days fo the posh people in the seats. We ed no p1ss oyles. Under the stand or in the long grass up against the wall wo good enough for us.

That's proper old Oakwell isn't it that's had over 40k in against Stoke City , the mind boggles .

I remember the ash at the top of the old spion kop that blew all over on a windy day and got in your eyes before it was fully concreted in 1979 .

I have to say when we had 33k in against Man City in 81 you couldn't move , it was solid and yet the ground that night was still 3k under capacity , you never thought owt of it .
