    Starting XI

    My starting 11 for QPR
Gk: Ikeme/Lonergan, not much between the two
    Lb: Doherty
    CB: Saiss
    CB: Hause
    Rb: Dominic Awful
    Rm: Costa
    Cm: Tex
    Cm: Price
    Lm: Cavaliero
    St: Dicko/Gladon
    St: Bodvarsson
4-4-2 always been my favoured formation, Paul Lambert starting Saville on Lm ahead of Cavaliero is a major concern amongst a few others. Hope we don't waste the next few years under Lambert.

Hope your all well, feel free to write your starting XI

Hi Prem, nice to see you posting again (are you still 'down under' ?). As for your starting XI, mate, I think you've picked the eyes out of those available, however, you may find some might disagree with your inclusion of the 'Iberian connection'. When this season commenced I too had hoped Wolves would be able to maintain a strong British content, but, frankly, needs must and most of them are just not good enough. If we are to progress then, surely, sentiment must be sacrificed and we must go with the best we've got. Perhaps, wise purchase in January might offer a life-line..... I hope so.

Ikeme; Doherty, Batth, Hause, Borthwick-Jackson; Edwards, Price, Saiss; Costa, Bod, Dicko

4-3-3 that could easily **** to a 4-4-2 if the game suits it IMO. Protection for the back four as well. Saville has not shown anything in a Wolves shirt to justify staying in the squad. Coady is like Edwards in that he is positionless and runs all around with seemingly no reason to do so. But at least Edwards provides the odd goal and some leadership.

4-3-3 has always been one of my favorite formations. However, if we're just going to hoof it and launch it forward, we might as well just go with the traditional 442 with Ikeme; Doherty, Batth, Stearman, Hause; Costa, Saiss, Price, Cavaleiro; Dicko, Bod or something like that.

Not so much of a personnel change, but an attitude change especially at home!!

No Eve, just saying that if we're going to hoof, we have to have two up front. No reason to hoof it up to a lone guy with nobody coming into help him. If we have Costa and Cav on teh wings, at least they can do something with teh ball if it falls to them. And they're our only real wingers since Saville certainly isn't and Edwards can't really either.

Cool The Wolves way get it out to your wide men and let your twin strikers deal with the melee!! Sometimes a hoof onto the head of a big target man does on many an occasion lead to a goal or an opportunity for his oppo to get one!
Football snobbery of late seems to say there is only one ,pure and beautiful way to play the game. Absolute Bollux.
If your budget is £900 or £900 Million the objective is the same,to win a game of football, these days the more money you have the SUPPOSEDLY easier it is on the eye........................To Some.
