Two points. Firstly, there have been folk cutting about Dumbarton long before anyone settled in that desolate landscape & called it Aberdeen. It's not even close.

They usually fly at night. If you had electricity and street lighting in Dumbarton you'd of seen them flying for yourself you teuchter 😅

As for your first point there's been folk in Aberdeen since about 6000 years BC. Dumbarton has a bonny big rock though so it's not all dull in your village 😃
