Normally I can't be ársed watching them, well not for a long time anyway.

But seeing how the world championships are in town I thought it would be daft to miss it.

So I have tickets for Wednesday morning

No finals but heats in
200 m
800 m
5000 m
Long jump
Javelin
Pole vault.

Category 1 tickets -£6.80

Looking forward to it now, I haven't been to a running track since I was running myself, and that was a LONG time ago.

I remember going to watch the London equivalent in 2017 and paying something like ten times as much as you for a seat in the gods - we really are ripped off in this country for the cost of watching live sport.

Maybe no finals but you will be seeing the next big superstar of Athletics (if he isn't already) in the 200m - Noah Lyles

Well that was a morning well spent.
Bloody 34 degrees though, they postponed the 5000m to this evening.

Just watched a wee bit of the men’s marathon going past.

I need never try to persuade myself that even when I was young and fit that I could have done that.
