The 'Ton have exactly what Queens need a really good midfield quartet and haven't lost a league home game this season - a point here would be an excellent result.
Well what do you think, after the last drumming that we had against them, will we be any better this time?
Watched their game last night against Hibs and once again I was impressed with their commitment and bloody mindness in the midfield. If our boys don't step up to the mark in this one, then I can see another heavy defeat.
I really hope that I am wrong and that we can squeeze something out of this.
The manager as well as everybody knows that the team has to be strengthened and that some of the young lads have stepped up to the mark, whilst some have not.
Hate to say this but I can only see us being beaten in this one (really hope I am wrong)

This is the sort of game the Queens will end up winning.
With 3 teams on 17 points, Queens 'could' find themselves 2nd bottom this weekend, - or shortly thereafter!
The January window is now absolutely crucial for Queens, - with up to 5 players required to cope with long term injuries, the inevitable lay - offs of Hammill and co from completely unnecessary bookings and the lack of any experienced back -up.
Once again, I'd like to mention that Ian McShane has been an un-used sub at Ross County for many weeks, - and he would be a superb addition (on loan) to our midfield, with his 40 - 50 yard passes to Dobbie and Danny scything open many Championship defences.
Morton looked impressive against Hibs at the weekend and we're still struggling a team . Naysmith has admitted a couple of players shouldn't really be playing that's how bad things are .
Important that Jacobs recovers to play. A midfield of Hamill and Millar will get overwhelmed work wise ( not skill) and at least the moderately talented Jacobs has a very good work ethic and will not let them run through as easy.
Lovejoy seems to be in and out of the Staggies team.
While I thought McShane had the makings of a promising player, an opinion initially shared with the Ross County manager, he was not universally liked by the Queens supporters because of a perceived negativity with too many square passes resulting in plenty of jeers. I cannot recall too many 40-50 yard through passes scything open defences in his time with us unlike Jardi but perhaps time has faded my memory. Perhaps McShane's own memories of these negative comments would dissuade him from wanting to return.
Very true Spike I remember one bampot on here saying he wished McShane would get run over with a bus - absolute disgraceful post at the time ! !
On a weekly basis I would have to listen to some pathetic verbal abuse directed at our own players by the footballing experts in the mainstand . Thankfully we now take our boys to the terracing where it's nowhere near as bad
