It might surprise most people but the city with most Celtic and rangers fans voted yes in the last referendum while Aberdeen and edinburgh let us down.

Independence will happen but it might have to wait for around 10 years, most people below 55 voted yes,the over 70's voted no by 75 %,law of averages just mean the majority of pensioners who, voted no will not be around for the next referendum.

Until then, yes supporters should be campaigning in Aberdeen and Edinburgh,Glasgow and Dundee are already in the bag.

You might try to explain those stats to the tartan tosspot who insists all Rangers fans are card carrying Unionists.

As an aside, I believe the independence train has hit the buffers with a lot of folk now realising that although it was a nice dream the reality is somewhat different, the SNP have shown they cannot govern and we missed a bullet, the younger voter will be experienced and hardened to the SNP flannel if or when there is another referendum.

The fact is the SNP held all the cards and failed.

The electorate is finally waking up to them.

They are desperate to spoil for another referendum as they know the longer they go without one the more voters see them for what they are.

Its no wonder wee Willie is on here with his cut and paste shyte and phucking everyday.

    Tick tick.

You really are utterly clueless about Scottish politics and how the nation as a whole has reacted to Brexit and Theresa Mays Tory government. You just dont get the anger in Scotland towards the English government at Westminster, which isnt really surprising as you turned your back on your country to live thousands of miles away, because your Union wasnt good enough for you personally. What a hypocrite !

From a high water mark of 64 seats in the previous Scottish parliamentary elections, the sitting government actually increased their constituency vote by 1.1%, they lost 6 seats because of the PR system thats in place at Holyrood which is in place to make sure there isnt a clean sweep for one party. Lets also not cast aside the General Election in 2015 which saw the SNP win 56 seats and wipe Labour out completely to the sniggering cheers of the Tories who done Jim Murphy up like a kipper. You are totally off your head, blinkered by Union Flag specs because its just not within your bigoted wee bag of bones to admit Scots can do a better job of running their country than the English do at present, even under the present of system of being shafted at every turn by anti-Scots bigots at Westminster saying we are subsidy junkies, when we are actually net contributors.

    .
Scots voted to remain in the UK at the 2014 indyref under the promise that its better to stay in the Union with the UK and the EU rather than have to go through uncertainty of leaving the UK and negotiating to remain in the EU. When a fundamental shift in the status of the Union changes, and against the will of the Scottish people, then its only correct our government look at some way of remaining in the EU, they would prefer to do it from within the Union, at this time, but the English government has already told them it aint happening, what England wants, Scotland has got to accept and shut up. Better Together eh ?
