Really hope we don't take the 'oh sh!t, they've poked the hornets nest, we're in big trouble now" attitude. Would love to see us take the "they're not invincible at all, they're actually very much vincible, and we're going to go there and show them we can play a bit too".

There's every chance they could go on a bit of a downward spiral for the next couple of games, after what must have been a huge psychological blow, especially if we show some balls against them for a change, and not let them have it all their own way. This defeat has been coming for some time now, so hopefully it's not just a blip.

This result coupled with the euro drubbings will no doubt have knocked their confidence. They're still clearly the best team in the league but getting horsed will affect any team.

I was just thinking that I couldn't recall a time when either of the cheeks had been beaten by four goals by another Scottish team (omitting OF games). I remember that the DABs won 3-0 at Ibrox in the early 90s and Hibs beat them there by the same scoreline in 2006. I don't recall Celtic taking a heavy defeat since we humped them twice in 90/91.

As I said, we shouldn't be fearful of a backlash. A backlash is a response to a bad day at the office. Celtic are suffering from a real dip in form. It's up to us to exploit that.

While I agree with the sentiment that some of our recent performances against Celtic have been dismal, the "we're the only ones who sh*te it against celtic" brigade should note the following based on the recent H2H record between Hearts and Celtic:

    1. The aggregate score for the 4 prior fixtures was 15-1 in Celtic's favour.
    2. Hearts had lost 13 out of their last 15 fixtures against Celtic.
    3. Hearts most recent league victory against Celtic was in 2011.

You've probably heard about how dodgy the Qatar government who own PSG are especially when it comes to human rights and stuff like that. Well, the Abu Dhabi government who own Man City are just as bad if not worse. Abu Dhabi are also up to their necks in the war in Yemen.
