Great result for Man U and Aberdeen.
What i find amusing is this trophy was belittled by Manure and especially Mourinho before their first group game v Feyenoord. It Was something that "Manchester United did not need". Then once Manchester United realised they were diddies in guffball it became priority one. But it didn't become the priority because the wanted to win the trophy and join the elite group of teams who have the the grand slam of euro trophies (Bayern, Juventus, Ajax and Chelsea), they didn't want to win it so they could say they won a double(even a treble if you count the charity shield). They wanted to win it as a back door to the Champions League for the money that brings. That's all it was about and that's what everyone connected to the club spoke about.
I feel sorry for Ajax as all their talk was about winning it and hanging another flag from the rafters of the Amsterdam Arena, winning their first Euro trophy in 22 years. They wanted that cup for old fashioned reasons. Good reasons, what football should be about
So in the end f@ck Manure. The trophy isn't so diddy now ye w@nks. What you have to realise is you have fallen from grace and you are in fact diddies and are not the Manchester United of old. You have players like Fellaini and Lingaard in your ranks and you play a horrific brand of negative pish football. Enjoy watching the 10 men behind the ball tactic. Its well worth the money
Also the result had f@ck all to do with Aberdeen FC
Feyenoord wining the league put us in round 2. What am I dreaming about?
After they did it we skipped into round 2 on any website that had qualified teams listed.
The only thing needed is the club to receive written conformation from Uefa
What do you know that nobody else seemed to know

Article in one of the broadsheets last week, still had not been confirmed at that stage. If it was, why were there no noises from AFC to that affect? Don't UEFA know their own rules?
Last night was validation. Maybe it wasn't needed, maybe it was. Bottom line, it got it right up the Man U haters.
I don't think it was confirmed until we beat Sevco, as the massive goal difference couldn't be taken in to account in us being guaranteed 2nd.
So 1st leg off play off who do we want to win Dundee Utd or Hamilton ?
