Classic heart v head situation. Head would have liked Hamilton to go down. United nearer, bigger crowds, bigger support up here, more fun to beat.

But they also have the most deluded support in Scottish fitba apart from Sevco. The good hard kicking they're getting now has been a long time coming and it's an absolute joy to see.

My wee team Utrecht has qualified for Europe. Mental game. Doon 3-0 from the first leg, they went 3-0 up in the 2nd. Got a pen deep into injury time, where it seems like AZ keeper Tim Krul (mind him?) got up to some shenanigans to distract the forward, making him miss. Still, Utrecht ended up winning on pens so GIRUY Timmy (oh how I wish that taunt could have been used in another way this weekend).

I met Utrecht fans on a train from Nijmegen to Amsterdam en route back from a (fantastic) Pearl Jam gig. They were a f@cking hoot. Great dudes. Got a video of them singing "hes gay, hes bent, his arse is up for rent, hes Ian Durrant" somewhere.
