Arite lads and lassies, just leaving the stadium now, well that is as poor a game as ive seen these last couple of years, atmosphere before the game was electric, after about 5 minutes it was about as good as watching an amatuer game, wouldnt say the better team won but hey if you dont make and take chances you will never win.

looked pretty deliberate to me, he hesitated first with a slight shuffle ,then hoofed into the defender. who he could clearly see was in the flight path of the cross.
it's a skilled Liverpool player who can pass accurately , not one of our duffers.

Salah would have been glad he didn't have to take his usual dive for one though.

Brilliant. When it comes to Michael Marra, the word legend is underused. Met him a couple of times and he was more than kind about my songwriting, playing one of my songs much better than I could, truly inspiring guy. The wonderful thing is he as a TMSTID fan wrote "Hamish the Goalie" about United's McAlpine (and I like it so much better than the, at the time, entertaining "McAlpine's wife") because "we are not Glaswegian about this sort of thing". Died way too young.

A few years ago the magazine When Saturday Comes suggested it should be called either the Champions And Their Mates League or the Bring A Wealthy Friend Cup. Most appropriate.
