Think County could be in bother.
T'was a very un-MacGregor like move binning a safe pair of hands for a snake oil salesman like Coyle.
Mind you, he's had a couple duff appointments.......Willie McStay and that clown Leitch.

Just reading the Bryan Cooney book “Stand by your Reds”. Seemingly we have a 20% sell on clause on Fraser.

The daft money that bang average players are changing hands for down there, could be a tidy earner.

Well, considering the other glaring ****-ups in the old drunk’s narrative, it would be no surprise to discover that he actually means a sell-on clause for Doug Fraser, who we sold to West Brom in 1963, and who The Throstles (far did that Baggies pish come fae?) sold on to Nottingham Forest in 1971.

It’s a decent enough read, but the elementary mistakes, including some glaring editorial and layout gaffes make it look amateurish at times. That’s like having some blindfolded 5 year old perform root canal work on me with a 9mm masonry drill bit affixed to a 1970s Black & Decker stuck on hammer setting.

The book is pretty disjointed and doesn’t have much flow to it. Some interesting stories though (even if the writer seems a wee bit up his own erse).
