No appeals for a straight red isn't it? Even if there is, I doubt they would as he could end up getting an even bigger ban. Absolutely right though with wishing we could wind them up like that.

If the ref decides it was violent conduct he gets a 3 game ban which applies to league and cup games. Othewise it's just a 1 game ban in the league.
