If venkys wish to make this "toy" work they need to buy there way out of it
now this sounds very frivolous however is there any other way out of this finacial mess we are in?
venkys could leave we go into administration and we find ourselves a couple of leagues down at best with probably no way back due to our small fan base
a return to the premier league would not errase the deficit but it would certainly help
the next few months will show the grand scale of things
    Relegation will bring impending doom
    possible ground sale
    possible training facility sale
    then venkys exit hooray
however the mess that will leave us in will be irreparable
there is 2 quality managers available now
would they come to us in our state?
Of course not but with finacial backing this would be still a desirable job and a hell of a plus on a managers cv if promotion is achieved
the other way is promote Johnson and Dunn now
Use our academy and have a great chance in league 1 very Bolton Esq
    still a risk but achievable
whatever way you look at it venkys needs to act now.

Sounds like you've had it bad as a club, and its slowly getting worse if anything. How many times do we see it now, when rich foreign investors take over a club with absolutely no football knowledge behind them, and they end up running it into the ground.

The one thing they have NEVER done, Robin is react at the right time.
I must admit, I would also consider the Johnson/Dunn/rely-on-the-youngsters approach, but it's high-risk.
The playing-side apart, though, we still need owners! I wonder if anyone would step in to fill a post-Venky's vacuum, given that the Club's debts would be such a millstone.
As Despair implies, there is no obvious way forward.
