Not looking good in Fife today for Queens

with Dunfermline 2 - 0 up and if it stays that way on the same 21 points with a 2 - goal better goal difference

Nicky Clark with one of the Pars goals as they jump Queens into 6th place - Great attendance of 5,899 of which Dunfermline brought 2,845 fans to the near neighbours ground.

The Pars have certainly got the fan-base potential to be a Premier League club.

Gavin Reilly got only a 6 - minute run out at the end of the game replacing his old strike partner Clark

I'm surprised Queens aren't enquiring about getting Reilly back to Palmerston.

Three clubs on 21 points now, 2 points ahead of Ayr United in 9th.

The crowd in Kirkcaldy clearly shows how much we are missing a rival / derby/ Gretna even. The short lived Gretna rivalry was good for us and stoked up some much needed passion in our support . No one ever mentions this but it did create interest in this area of Scotland . Raith do not get any more fans coming to watch them regularly than we do but benefit financially by being near to Dunfermline, Dundee, Edinburgh and Falkirk. These extra reserves are something our own club could only dream of. I will always watch and support Queens of course but am far more realistic now about our chances of success than I ever was. Mid table Championship is about our ceiling as other similar size clubs have far more advantages than us. Player recruitment as regards to location is another.

Hate to say this but there's a real chance we could go down this season especially if we lose again on Saturday
