    Johnny Russell off to Birmingham?

I hear that talks are ongoing between the two clubs with a fee of £2 million being talked about....

....thoughts? Been a great servant for the club and was well worth the 750k we paid, possibly the right time for him to move on though....

I know many will disagree but I ask myself would I pay the same again for him now?

Don't disagree, he served a purpose I suppose but nothing more, good lungs but no end product, move him on and move on ourselves

Have to agree with Stenson. Not sure about the 'great servant' bit, think that's reserved for those who make a bigger contribution. Got a good engine, always tries hard and if we get £2m then £750k was obviously money well spent. Wish him well but he was all about effort rather than finesse imo.

Would make a great Scottish Premier league player!

Bet he scores against us. I like JR, I don't think there's many that don't, but he does lack composure and lacks a final touch, be it passing or scoring.

He was meant to be a centre forward, couldn't cut it. End up competing for his place with every other wide forward / winger, never really made the position his own. Lots of effort, but poor defensively, and as we all know, zero end product.

Saying that, he's decent at this level, and would be excellent in league 1 or Scottish Prem, so 2mil in todays ridiculous market is about right. I'd take it, providing we have someone else lined up.
